Saints vs. Falcons NFL DFS Value Picks for Monday Night Football

The Saints are hosting the Falcons for Week 4’s edition of Monday Night Football. On DraftKings Sportsbook, New Orleans is favored by 1.5 points and this game carries a total of 47.5 points.

DraftKings is offering some huge Showdown contests for this matchup. Below, I have featured two of my favorite NFL DFS value plays to consider for this Showdown slate.

Saints vs. Falcons NFL DFS Value Picks for Monday Night Football

RB Brian Robinson, Atlanta Falcons ($5,700 CPT, $3,800 FLEX)

While Bijan Robinson is one of the best backs in the NFL and rightfully gets all the attention for this Falcons backfield, Brian Robinson has been rock solid playing behind him this season. Robinson is averaging 4.4 YPC and he has improved in each game, scoring 3.1, 8.7, and 11 FPTS. Last Sunday, Robinson finished with a 10/50/1 rushing line vs. the Packers.

The former third-round pick is averaging 10 carries per game while logging 33.2% of the snaps. Robinson has forced four missed tackles and he has two rushes of 10+ yards. Robinson ranks 17th in rushing success rate among the backs who have seen 10+ carries (53.3%) and this is a friendly matchup for him vs. the Saints.

New Orleans is giving up the seventh-most yards per rush (4.7) and the third-most rushing touchdowns to running backs (4). Opponents have the second-highest rushing success rate in the league when facing the Saints (57.9%). Robinson should have a strong performance on the ground in this matchup.

WR Bryce Lance, New Orleans Saints ($2,700 CPT, $1,800 FLEX)

There are many appealing studs to peruse for this Showdown slate. Fully punting a lineup spot with Lance allows you to roster multiple high-end players. Lance is the No.3 receiver for the Saints and while his fantasy results haven’t been underwhelming, scoring 7.2, 1.8, and zero FPTS, Lance’s role has been significant and he is due for some positive regression.

With the Saints ranking third in pace and eighth in PROE, Lance has run 105 routes this season, which ranked 12th in the league heading into Week 4. Lance ranks third for New Orleans in route rate (71.8%) and while he has only seen eight targets, two have been over 20 yards and one has come in the redzone.

The Falcons aren’t an easy matchup, yielding the seventh-fewest yards per pass (6.1), but Lance should catch a few passes tonight and outproduce his near minimum salary.
