This week’s UFC Fight Night from The Accor Arena features Daniil Donchenko vs. Punahele Soriano in a three-round Welterweight contest. Donchenko has gotten off to a hot streak in the UFC, going 3-0 with two finishes in the promotion. Soriano is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a win against Ramiz Brahimaj.

Daniil Donchenko to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+100)
Donchenko, 25, is 15-2 with 12 finishes and most recently picked up a second-round knockout over Theodor Berggren in June. Since January 2024, Donchenko has won eight consecutive fights, with six coming by submission or knockout. Soriano trains at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas and has recently turned his career around after going 1-4 from June 2021 to December 2023.
In this fight on DraftKings Sportsbook, Donchenko is a -238 favorite, with Soriano being a +195 underdog. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over at -180 and the under at +140. This fight is -200 not to go the distance and +150 to last the scheduled 15 minutes.
Donchenko fights at such a high pace that many struggle to keep up. Although Soriano has seven knockouts, he hasn’t displayed his power a ton recently. Donchenko has a tremendous finishing ability, which is why I’m taking him to win this contest at +100 by KO/TKO/DQ or submission. 12 of Donchenko’s 15 victories have come by finish, and he’ll likely look for another against Soriano.
