Studs

Lawrence Lui ($9,100)

Lawrence Lui picked up a split decision win over Sulangrangbo at UFC 325 in January, which was his UFC debut. Lui made his way to the UFC after winning two fights on the Road to UFC. He was born in Hong Kong but now lives and trains in Auckland, New Zealand, at the legendary City Kickboxing gym. Lui is taking on Hector Santiago, who is making his UFC debut. Santiago is on a two-fight winning streak and recorded a knockout over Paulo Nogueira.

Lui has the height (5’7″ vs. 5’5″) and standing reach (72″ vs. 68″) advantage in this contest over Nogueira. Including his fights on the Road to UFC, Lui is averaging 5.30 takedowns per 15 minutes and 3.72 significant strikes per minute. In his UFC debut, Lui scored 100.8 fantasy points. Since Lui has the advantage on paper, he should be able to be the aggressor in this contest. If Lui can use all areas of his game while keeping Santiago at range, more success is very likely.

Sean Woodson ($8,400)

On the Prelims of this week’s UFC Fight Night, Sean Woodson takes on Jack Jenkins in a three-round Featherweight contest. Woodson is coming off his first loss since 2020 as he came up short against Dan Ige at UFC 314 in April 2025. From 2021 to 2024, Woodson went on a seven-fight unbeaten streak. Jenkins has a 4-2 record in the UFC and beat Ramon Taveras in his previous bout in September 2025.

Physically, Woodson has a big edge in this fight: he is seven inches taller (6’2″ vs. 5’7″) and has a massive 10-inch reach advantage (78″ vs. 68″). On the feet, Woodson lands 1.09 more significant strikes per minute while Jenkins is more accurate (61% vs. 46%).

Before his latest loss, Woodson totaled at least 70 points in four fights. Also, Woodson has had 100-plus fantasy points in three of his last six wins. Jenkins could struggle to find success in this fight as he will have to exert plenty of energy each time to make an impact. Coming off a loss, Woodson will likely enter this fight aggressively, looking to get back on track. Woodson’s above-average striking, combined with his size advantage, should give him the edge in this contest.

Value Play

Song Yadong ($6,700)

Although Song Yadong is an underdog, he is a versatile fighter who could be a tough challenge for Nurmagomedov. Yadong is 23-9-1 with 13 finishes and is coming off a win in May against former UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo. Now Yadong takes on Umar Nurmagomedov, who is on a two-fight winning streak.

Both fighters in this contest are 5’8,” but Nurmagomedov has a two-inch edge in standing reach (69″ vs. 67″). Yadong averages more significant strikes per minute (4.34 vs. 3.86), but Nurmagomedov has a better striking accuracy (56% vs. 43%). On the ground, Nurmagomedov has the biggest advantage as he lands over three more takedowns per 15 minutes. But Nurmagomedov could struggle at times to score takedowns and keep Yadong down, as he possesses a 73 percent takedown defense.

Yadong recorded 85.9 fantasy points in his last fight and has scored at least 92 in four of his previous six wins. With Yadong’s athleticism, top-tier striking, and takedown defense, he has a skill set that could give Nurmagomedov problems. Adding Yadong at $6,700 increases your overall upside and gives you a potential lineup-winning fighter.
