Two Lightweight prospects with one loss, Liam McCracken and Silvestre Sanchez, will face off on tonight’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series. This is the third contest on a five-fight card. As always, DWCS begins at 7:00 p.m. ET and airs on Paramount+. Dana White’s Contender Series is taking place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Liam McCracken Moneyline (-130)
25-year-old McCracken is 8-1 with eight finishes and is riding a five-fight winning streak entering this contest. His lone loss came against Asael Adjoudj at Bellator 291 in February 2023, but since then, he has looked unstoppable. Sanchez is one year younger and has one more win on his resume. Just like McCracken, Sanchez has also won five in a row, with all of them coming by finish.
In this contest, McCracken is a -130 favorite with Sanchez as a +110 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight is +165 to go the distance and -220 to end early. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds with the over at -175 and the under at +135.
Sanchez is slightly taller than McCracken (5’10” vs. 5’9″) and has the reach advantage (73″ vs. 71″). With two fighters who are accustomed to early finishes, I’m taking under 1.5 rounds at +135 in this fight. Four of McCracken’s previous five and three of Sanchez’s last four wins have come in the first round. A matchup between two fighters who previously showed an elite aggressive streak should only be elevated inside the Meta Apex in front of the UFC brass.
