Season 10 of Dana White’s Contender Series continues on Tuesday night, with the Week 4 action featuring a lightweight clash between Hunter Smith and Adam Livingston.

Smith (8–1) recently captured AKA gold with a first-round knockout of Elliot Hebert in March. Livingston (7–1) returns to the DWCS stage following his second-round stoppage win over Kyle Pufahl in LFA in May.

Livingston enters as a -175 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Smith sits as a +145 underdog.

They call him “Headshot” for a reason. Rising lightweight Hunter Smith arrives on Dana White’s Contender Series with a dangerous boxing profile, equal parts sharp and powerful. Six of his eight pro wins have come by knockout or TKO. The Lake Charles, Louisiana, native, 27, recently avenged his lone professional loss, sparking Elliot Herbert in the first round of their March rematch to seize the 155-pound crown in regional promotion AKA. Riding a four-fight winning streak, Smith is looking to capitalize on his momentum and punch his ticket to MMA’s biggest stage.

Adam Livingston returns to DWCS, eager to showcase an improved version of himself after suffering his first pro loss — a first-round submission at the hands of Tommy Gantt — in Season 9. “Bomb” rebounded with a spinning-elbow stoppage win over Kyle Pufahl in LFA earlier this year, his sixth career victory inside the distance. The Long Island native, 25, is an aggressive and entertaining striker who leans on volume and timing over raw knockout power. In his second chance, Livingston will set out to prove that he has the skill set to make it in the UFC. 

Smith vs. Livingston Pick, Best Bet

Even in defeat, Adam Livingston’s past experience on Dana White’s Contender Series should serve him well in his return to the Meta APEX. In a compelling matchup between high-octane strikers, Livingston enters as the younger and more battle-tested prospect — one with a considerable five-inch height advantage. Adam “Bomb” should have the tools to redeem himself on Monday night.
