The third fight on Saturday’s UFC Fight Night Main Card in Shanghai is a Bantamweight contest between Aoriqileng and Kai Asakura. Aoriqileng has been in the UFC since 2021 and has gone 4-5 with one no-contest in the promotion. Asakura is 1-2 in the UFC but is coming off a win over Cameron Smotherman in his 135-pound debut in the promotion.
Check out my best bet below for Aoriqileng vs. Kai Asakura at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night.
Kai Asakura to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (-175)
Before entering the UFC, Asakura was on a two-fight winning streak, with both coming by knockout while being the reigning Rizin Champion. Asakura suffered back-to-back submissions to Alexandre Pantoja and Tim Elliott in his first two UFC fights. But in May, Asakura picked up his first UFC win in a big way, with a knockout in under two minutes. Now he will face Aoriqileng, who last lost to Cody Haddon in May. Aoriqileng is 1-2 in his last three contests and last beat Cody Gibson in October 2025.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Asakura is a -470 favorite with Aoriqileng being a +360 underdog in this contest. The fight’s over/under is set at 2.5 rounds, with the under at -188 and the over at +145. In this bout, both fighters have a 69″ standing reach while Asakura is slightly taller (5’8″ vs. 5’7″). Aoriqileng averages more significant strikes per minute (4.40 vs. 2.53) while being more accurate (49% vs. 34%). But Asakura is better defensively (52% vs. 46%) and has the power advantage.
Asakura’s last three wins and eight of his previous 10 victories have come by knockout. With that being the case, I’m backing him to beat Aoriqileng by KO/TKO/DQ at -175. When Asakura starts fast and pressures his opponent, they often can’t keep up with him.
