This week’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series is headlined by one of the top prospects of the season, Bella Mir, who is taking on Alex Apodaca. Bella Mir is the daughter of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir. In the Main Event of DWCS Season 10, Week 3, Bella Mir is facing Alex Apodaca in a three-round Women’s Bantamweight contest. This card starts at 7:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Check out my best bet below for Bella Mir vs. Alex Apodaca at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Bella Mir to Win by Submission in Round 1 (-200)

Mir is a fascinating prospect not only because of family lineage but because of her own accomplishments. She won an NCAA National Championship at North Central College and a No-Gi title. Mir is 3-0 in UFC BJJ with two submissions. In MMA, Mir is 4-0 with three submissions. This is Mir’s first fight since July 2025, but she is now looking to become more active in the sport. As Bella Mir grew up in Las Vegas, she has built a relationship with UFC CEO Dana White, who has been following her combat sports journey closely.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Mir is a massive -3600 favorite, with Apodaca as a +1500 underdog. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the under at -410 and the over at +290. Mir is -1400 to win by knockout or submission and -250 to score a victory in the first round. Although both fighters in this matchup are 5’7″, Apodaca has a five-inch reach advantage (71″ vs. 66″).

Since Mir is such a heavy favorite in this fight, I’m taking her to win by submission in the first round at -200. Although Mir is still early in her MMA career, she has been extremely aggressive in her last three MMA fights. Mir has won her previous three MMA fights by first-round submission. Also, four of Mir’s last seven victories in MMA or grappling have come by first-round submission. As she is competing on a big stage in front of Dana White, I expect Mir to come out looking for a submission right away.
