What happened to Willson Contreras? Live updates for White Sox vs. Red Sox on 8/5/26

In the top of the fifth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Chicago White Sox, Willson Contreras was replaced by Anthony Seigler. Nothing to worry about as Contreras left the game due to illness.

Prior to exiting, Contreras went 1-for-1 with a RBI and a walk

Since Contreras had at least two at-bats, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
