What happened to Corbin Carroll? Live injury updates for Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks on 7/19/26

UPDATE: Carroll hyperextended his right elbow and is day-to-day.

In the bottom of the ninth inning of Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals, Corbin Carroll was replaced by Jorge Barrosa. Carroll suffered an injury while swinging at a pitch. The exact nature of the injury has yet to be divulged.

Prior to exiting, Carroll went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Since Carroll had over two at-bats in the game, he is not eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
