Update: An IL stint is “probable” for Nick Lodolo, per Reds manager Terry Francona.
Cincinnati southpaw Nick Lodolo exited Saturday’s game against the Cubs in the sixth inning due to an apparent finger injury.
He had surrendered two earned runs over five frames on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts before exiting with a trainer.
Lodolo has been constantly hampered by blisters this season, starting the 2026 campaign on the IL due to a blister on his left index finger. He holds a 4.68 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP across 11 starts (57.2 IP).
