Milwaukee right-hander Brandon Woodruff exited Saturday’s game against the Diamondbacks after an alarming velocity drop in the fourth inning.
The 33-year-old veteran’s fastball topped out at just 87 mph, while his changeup plunged to 73 mph, in the fourth before he exited with trainers.
Before exiting, Woodruff allowed three earned runs in 3.2 frames on two hits (one home run) with six strikeouts.
