What happened to Michael Soroka? Live injury updates for Twins vs. Diamondbacks on 6/19/26

Prior to the start of the second inning of Friday’s game against the Minnesota Twins, Michael Soroka was replaced by Taylor Clarke. Soroka was unable to complete his warmup routine and walked to the dugout with a trainer. There’s been no reason given yet for his exit.

Prior to exiting, Soroka pitched one inning and allowed two hits. He threw nine total pitches, six for strikes.

It’s a tough blow for the Diamondbacks as Soroka hs been fantastic, posting a 2.93 FIP while allowing only six home runs in 81 innings.

Since Soroka left before facing five batters, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
