Best World Cup Anytime Goal Scorer Bets for Sunday, June 14
- Jamal Musiala: Musiala averaged more shots per 90 minutes than he ever has despite a down season derailed by a broken leg last summer, and he should be an every-match starter at this World Cup. Curaçao defended well in CONCACAF qualifying, but allowing four goals to Scotland right before the tournament is a bad omen for its ability to slow down Musiala.
- Viktor Gyökeres: Gyökeres helped Arsenal to its first Premier League title in 22 years, scoring 19 goals between the Premier League and Champions League. He’s also scored five goals in his last three appearances for his country, and despite Tunisia’s not allowing a goal in African qualifying, goalkeeper Aymen Dahmen isn’t good enough to contain a striker of Gyökeres’ quality.
The 2026 World Cup eased into action with two games on Thursday, two games on Friday, and three on Saturday, but this Sunday, it’ll be near-constant, with Australia and Turkey playing at 12 a.m. ET, Germany and Curaçao meeting at 1 p.m. ET, the Netherlands and Japan at 4 p.m. ET, the Ivory Coast and Ecuador at 7 p.m. ET, and Sweden and Tunisia at 10 p.m. ET. With 10 of the 48 teams in action, there should be plenty of goals.
Anytime goal scorer bets are among the most common prop bets in soccer markets, making goals rewarding for both players and bettors. Below, I’ve broken down my two favorites from Sunday’s action at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Anytime Goal Scorer Bets for June 14
Jamal Musiala (-110)
Musiala’s numbers didn’t jump off the page in 2025-26, as he was limited to just three goals and four assists in 15 appearances for Bayern Münich in the Bundesliga after breaking his leg during the Club World Cup last summer, but he demonstrated better form towards the end of the season, netting as a reserve in the Champions League Round of 16 against Atalanta and scoring in Germany’s friendly against Finland on May 31. He also started both of the warm-up friendlies as an attacking midfielder, so it’s clear that Julian Nagelsmann trusts him. Musiala averaged more shots per 90 minutes than ever this season, and as long as he keeps putting himself into dangerous positions against Curaçao, he should find the back of the net eventually. The Blue Wave played well defensively in CONCACAF qualifying, giving up just five goals in 10 matches, but they allowed four to Scotland in a friendly, which doesn’t bode well for their form. Their primary center-backs tend to play for European clubs, but squad players for lesser Eredivisie sides haven’t faced many attackers as talented as Musiala.
Viktor Gyökeres (+165)
Gyökeres was clearly the missing piece for Arsenal, which finally got over the hump to win its first Premier League title since 2004. He scored 14 goals in 36 appearances (26 starts) and added another five in the Champions League. Critically, he also added four goals in two matches as Sweden ousted Ukraine and Poland in the UEFA play-offs while playing as the lone striker in Graham Potter’s 3-4-3. Additionally, he scored in Blågult’s pre-tournament friendly against Greece while playing alongside Alexander Isak, and he should be Potter’s penalty taker at this tournament. Gyökeres should have plenty of opportunities to convert one against Tunisia, which, despite not allowing a single goal in African qualifying, just lost 5-0 in a friendly to Belgium. The Eagles of Carthage have some decent center-backs, such as Lorient starter Montassar Talbi, but I just don’t trust goalkeeper Aymen Dahmen, who plays domestically for Sfax. Dahmen made just three saves from eight opportunities during the Africa Cup of Nations, which simply won’t be sufficient against a finisher as clinical as Gyökeres.
