What happened to Seth Lugo? Live status updates for Rangers vs. Royals on 6/10/26

In the top of the fourth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Texas Rangers, Seth Lugo was replaced by Mason Black. Lugo was struck in the head by a comebacker off the bat of Brandon Nimmo.

Before exiting, Lugo allowed one earned run over 3.1 innings on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts. He three 44 pitches, 29 for strikes.

Since Lugo faced more than five batters, he is not eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
