In the sixth inning of Tuesday’s game vs. the Diamondbacks, Brandon Nimmo looked to have injured his ankle after stepping on the foot of Arizona’s first baseman. Nimmo stayed in the game at first, but was then replaced by Sam Haggerty.
Before exiting, he was having an excellent night with three hits and one run in four trips to the plate.
