What happened to Brandon Lockridge? Live injury updates for Brewers vs. Yankees on 5/8/26

In the top of the fourth inning of Friday’s game against the New York Yankees, Brandon Lockridge was replaced by Garrett Mitchell. Lockridge banged his right knee on the concrete part of the outfield wall in left field foul territory. He had to be carted off the field.

Prior to exiting, Lockridge went 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI.

Since Lockridge had two plate appearances during the game, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
