In the bottom of the sixth inning of Monday’s game against the Chicago Cubs, Manny Machado was replaced by Gavin Sheets. Machado was removed from the game after grounding out. There’s been no official designation of the injury as of yet.
Prior to exiting, Machado went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
Since Machado had two plate appearances during the game, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
