What happened to Christian Yelich? Live injury updates for Brewers vs. Nationals on 4/12/26

Christian Yelich injured his hamstring at some point during Sunday’s home game against the Nationals. He didn’t leave the contest officially until the later-innings, but beat writers are speculating he may have suffered the injury on a first-inning run-out:

Yelich left in the fifth inning, and was replaced at DH by Gary Sanchez.

After the game., manager Pat Murphy told Adam McCalvy they are expecting bad news after Yelich undergoes imaging:

All speculation for now, but it sounds like the Brewers are about to be without one of their key middle-of-the-order stars for a grade-two-tear-or-worse recovery timeline.
