What happened to Andrew Painter? Live injury updates for Phillies vs. Diamondbacks on 4/12/26

Not long before first pitch on Sunday, the Philadelphia Phillies announced that their scheduled starter, young future-ace Andrew Painter, will not make today’s scheduled start due to the onset of migraines.

Zach Pop will start in his place. It sounds like this is just an anomaly, an acute spell that’ll cost Painter only one start. But, as always, it’s worth monitoring what the team has to say after the final out in Philadelphia today.
