After a couple of weeks in the Lone Star State, the PGA TOUR has finally arrived at the first major championship of the season. The Masters is always one of the highlights of the fantasy golf season, and Augusta National Golf Course is one of the most iconic and legendary venues in the game. DraftKings has a wide variety of contests and formats for Masters week, and if you’re teeing it up with some conservative lineups designed for cash games, my three top fantasy golf cash plays to consider are Matt Fitzpatrick ($8,700), Russell Henley ($7,900) and Maverick McNealy ($7,200).

Pivot plays for tournament lineups are usually more aggressive, while fantasy golf cash game picks are safer with higher floors and lower risk. The picks in this post generally have higher ownership than my pivot plays, but they are good selections for contests where the uniqueness of your lineup is less important. Think of cash game picks as lying back and playing a par 5 as it was designed, taking three shots before reaching the green, searching for a solid birdie. Tournament picks are like going driver off the deck to try to reach the green in two — more reward if it works, but much more risk, as well.

Matt Fitzpatrick ($8,700)
Fitzpatrick is a great value under $9,000 and comes to Augusta playing very well. He won the Valspar Championship by one stroke in his most recent tournament after finishing T-2 at THE PLAYERS just behind Cameron Young ($9,200). He closed that win with a bogey-free final round at The Copperhead Course, winning in difficult conditions relative to par, like he’ll face again this week.
Fitzpatrick’s recent surge in form started last year with 11 made cuts to finish his PGA TOUR season. During that stretch, he finished T-4 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T-4 at The Open Championship, T-8 at the PGA Championship, T-8 at the Rocket Classic and T-8 at the Wyndham Championship. Later in the year, he also won his third career DP World Tour Championship in November, defeating Rory McIlroy in a playoff.
He started this year with top-15 finishes at Pebble Beach and TPC Scottsdale before his T-2 and victory. Over his last six months, he ranks fifth in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach, fourth in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and ninth in Total Strokes Gained.
Fitzpatrick has been solid but not outstanding in his career at Augusta. He made the cut in 10 of his 11 career appearances at Augusta with a handful of top-25 finishes. He has two career top-10 finishes with a T-7 in 2016 and a T-10 in 2023. He also has a good track record at major championships as a whole, including his win at the 2022 U.S. Open.
Russell Henley ($7,900)
Henley is one of several PGA TOUR stars who played at the University of Georgia, which makes them right at home, typically at Augusta National. The 36-year-old has claimed five PGA TOUR wins in his career and has the kind of approach game and shotmaking that plays well at this course.
His ownership this week could be a little lower after he missed the cut at the Masters, but I’m expecting a strong bounce-back for Henley. He made the cut in each of his seven appearances before that, with his best finish during that run a T-4 in 2023. He has four top-25 finishes at this event in his career. Henley typically plays well in majors, making the cut in six of his last eight majors with four top-10 finishes.
In 2026, Henley has been solid overall, but with a few outliers. He missed the cut at The Genesis Invitational and at the Valero Texas Open last week. When he did make the weekend, though, he has finished in the top 20 in each of his five tournaments, including a T-6 at Bay Hill in his title defense a few weeks ago and T-13 at THE PLAYERS at TPC Sawgrass.
Over the last 12 months, Henley ranks seventh in Total Strokes Gained, eighth in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and ninth in Strokes Gained: Approach. If he can continue that solid shotmaking this week, he should be one of the best fantasy golf cash plays since he has such a high floor and ceiling.
Maverick McNealy ($7,200)
I had McNealy in my fantasy golf cash plays last week as well for TPC San Antonio, when his salary was $9,000. With a much stronger field, he’s a bargain at just $7,200, but he still brings his strong form and overall success. He’s the kind of steady producer that makes sense in cash game lineups due to his consistency.
McNealy finished T-21 last week at the Valero with his best putting of the year. However, he struggled a little off the tee, which kept him out of contention. He hasn’t claimed a victory since his breakthrough win at The RSM Classic at the end of 2024, but he has been very consistent.
Last year, the Stanford alum made 21 of 26 cuts with 12 top-25 finishes, including five top-five finishes. He advanced to the finale of the FedExCup Playoffs, finishing T-23 at the TOUR Championship. In 2026, he has continued his strong production with seven made cuts in eight tournaments and five more top-25 finishes, including a T-13 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T-21 at the Valero Texas Open last week.
He has positive numbers across all major Strokes Gained categories over the last three months and has no major weakness in his game. He ranks in the top 20 in the field in Total Strokes Gained over that span and just outside the top-25 in Strokes Gained Tee-to-Green.
McNealy made his debut at the Masters with a T-32 last season and went on to make the cut at all four majors, finishing between T-23 and 37 in each of the four events. He’s consistently good for finishes around that level, and he also has the potential to spike for a big week if his putter stays hot and his driver comes back around.
