In the first inning on Tuesday vs. the Giants, J.T. Realmuto was hit in the foot by a foul ball. He stayed in the game at first, but was replaced by Rafael Marchan in the top of the second.
According to reports it was his right foot, and X-rays will likely be the next step. Hopefully for Phillies fans, it’s just precautionary. So far this season he has six hits, five walks and a home run in 25 trips to the plate.
