AEW Collision Announced Matches & Segments for March 7, 2026
The Outrunners vs. Private Party vs. LFI vs. The Swirl – 4-Way $200,000 Tag Match
I’ll admit, this is a bit of a random match and one I don’t really have a great feel for. Private Party recently made their return to AEW television on the February 11 edition of Dynamite in a loss to the Young Bucks and The Rascalz in a match to determine the #1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. This will be their first match since then, as they haven’t wrestled on TV since.
Of the four teams, it feels like Private Party has the most to gain here, and it would make sense for them to grab the victory. From a fan standpoint, I’d love to see The Outrunners get more time to shine. I absolutely love that team and think they deserve way more screen time on the main roster than the on-and-off treatment they’ve been getting. Nonetheless, this feels like a win for Private Party.

FTR vs. The Rascalz – AEW World Tag Team Championship Match
I love me some tag team action, so I very much appreciate how deep the AEW tag team roster is. The Rascalz are a very, very welcoming addition to the roster and have made their presence felt immediately. I don’t believe they’ll be winning this match, as that would also change the scheduled match at AEW Revolution between FTR and The Young Bucks.
But make no mistake — we will without a doubt see The Rascalz capture these titles down the road. This is going to be an excellent match, so make sure you tune in for this one.
FTR vs. The Rascalz Prediction: FTR retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship
Swerve Strickland vs. Gravity – Singles Match
It’s been quite awhile since we last saw Gravity on AEW programming. His last match in AEW (not including ROH) was on November 25, 2023, when he and Komander were defeated by House of Black in tag team action on Collision. The last time he appeared overall in AEW was in ROH in a loss against The Beast Mortos last November.
You can expect a lot of high-flying moves from Gravity when he takes on Swerve in this match. Expect a very entertaining win for Swerve in this one.
Swerve Strickland vs. Gravity Prediction: Swerve Strickland wins
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Konosuke Takeshita – Singles Match
When I saw this match listed, I raised my eyebrows. This should be an absolute banger. What I love about these types of matches is that I genuinely don’t know who will win. On a normal basis, I’d feel safe predicting Takeshita to get the victory. However, Castagnoli is currently the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion, so that changes things up a bit.
Takeshita also carries a title of his own, as he recently won the NJPW World TV Championship from El Phantasmo in quick fashion on February 27. I honestly wonder if this ends in a time-limit draw, which could further hype up Takeshita’s no time-limit match against Jon Moxley at AEW Revolution. I might be overthinking it, but that feels like a fair way to protect both men.
Then again, this would be the second time they’d go to a time-limit draw, as it happened before at the Continental Classic.
