Fallout season 2 has taken the long and winding road to its finale, which will wrap up the show’s nearly two-month run on Amazon Prime Video. The adaptation of the blockbuster video game franchise isn’t shying away from the lore at this point, continuing to expand the world as the story reaches a fever pitch.

When does Fallout S2E8 come out?
After dropping all eight episodes of season 1 at once, Prime Video pivoted to weekly releases for season 2. And despite routinely leaning on three-episode premieres for The Boys, Gen V, Invincible and their other blockbuster shows, Prime Video went with a one-episode premiere for Fallout season 2.
Season 2, episode 8 will drop on Tuesday, February 3 at 9 p.m. ET. Fallout had previously been coming out on Wednesdays at 3 a.m. ET, but Prime Video moved the release time up six whole hours for episodes 7 and 8. The finale will likely have a runtime of around one hour.

Who will show up in this episode?
Certain characters and plot lines have been omitted in different episodes so far, with the Brotherhood and Vault storylines getting left out roughly half the time. It would be surprising to see certain collections of characters get ignored in the season finale, but who really knows, considering season 3 already received a green light. All of that being said, here is the long list of the actors and characters who could pop up in episode 8:

Kumail Nanjiani’s Paladin Xander Harkness turned out to be a one-off character, dying shortly after his introduction. We didn’t see anything from Macaulay Culkin’s Lacerta Legate after Lucy and the Ghoul left Caesar’s Legion behind in episode 3, but he was in the trailer for the finale. And since Michael Cristofer’s Elder Quintus didn’t kick the bucket on-screen earlier this season, he is probably still out there, as well. Zach Cherry’s Woody Thomas, on the other hand, is seemingly dead.
What to expect in Fallout S2E8
After booting up a computerized version of House, it appears that the Ghoul is going to have to do the billionaire’s bidding – potentially in exchange for his wife and daughter’s safety. What House wants remains unclear, but he does say in the sneak peak for the finale that everyone ends up working for him eventually. Meanwhile, Maximus’ fight with the Deathclaws spilled over from the Strip to Freeside, putting the rest of Las Vegas at risk.
Lucy ran into a dilemma of her own down in the corporate Vault-Tec bunker, where she found the mainframe that controls the brainwashed people Hank snatched from the surface. Instead of a computer, though, she found Congresswoman Welch’s head hooked up to some sort of device, running the whole system. It is unclear whether or not Welch was part of House’s evil plot before the war, or if Hank is using her against her will. Welch was the lone member of Congress who refuses to take money from corporate donors, but she set up the meeting where Cooper handed cold fusion over to the president. In Fallout lore, the president went missing several months before the Great War and was assumed to be part of the Enclave, an Illuminati-type group that pulls strings from behind the scenes.
While Lucy was figuring out what to do with Hank’s mind control schemes, Norm was trying to reach out to them from Vault-Tec HQ. Bud’s Buds turned on him and Claudia after they discovered the Forced Evolutionary Virus plans. Speaking of which, Betty gave Steph a box of Hank’s keepsakes in exchange for water access. Steph’s back is up against the wall now that she’s been exposed as a Canadian and a killer, so she might be desperate enough to pull something on Vaults 32 and 33.
