With only one week left in the 2025 fantasy football regular season for most leagues, QB-WR rapports, target shares and more have been established among the league’s receiving corps. With all of that in mind, let’s break down my WR start/sit Week 14 fantasy football picks.
Check out my full Week 14 start/sit article with picks at each position here!
Start ‘Em: Christian Watson (Green Bay Packers) vs. Chicago Bears
It took a few games for Watson to ramp up to full speed coming off an ACL tear, but the big-play threat has officially taken over as the top target in Green Bay once again. Over the last three weeks, Watson has hauled in 13 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns.
On Thanksgiving against the Lions, the fourth-year wideout played a pivotal role in Green Bay’s win, racking up four receptions for 80 yards and a score. Watson also saw a season-high 10 targets. It was the second consecutive week he out-targeted Romeo Doubs.
The Bears have struggled against receivers this year, allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to the position. Even with Jaylon Johnson back in the equation, Watson profiles as a strong WR2 with upside in Week 14.

Sit ‘Em: Deebo Samuel (Washington Commanders) at Minnesota Vikings
Samuel has amassed double-digit fantasy points in three straight outings, but I expect that streak to come to an end this week.
Terry McLaurin finally returned to action (again) and immediately assumed his standard WR1 role. The veteran put together his best effort since inking a massive extension this offseason, hauling in seven of 14 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Samuel was still involved, but took a clear backseat role to Scary Terry.
This week, Deebo draws the toughest matchup on paper for receivers. Minnesota is allowing the fewest fantasy points to the position and fifth-fewest passing yards per game. With McLaurin now back in the equation, there are better options out there for this crucial week.

Start ‘Em: Jakobi Meyers (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Indianapolis Colts
Move over Brian Thomas, there’s a new WR1 in town.
In Thomas’ return to action, it was Meyers, not him, who paced the Jaguars’ passing attack. The seventh-year receiver has quickly become a reliable target for Trevor Lawrence. Meyers has scored in back-to-back games, and just racked up 90 yards on six catches against Tennessee.
This week, the elite route technician will look to keep the momentum rolling against Indy. The Colts allow the ninth-most fantasy points to WRs and sixth-most passing yards per game, setting the stage for another borderline WR1 performance from Meyers.

Sit ‘Em: DK Metcalf (Pittsburgh Steelers) at Baltimore Ravens
I don’t care what anyone else says, the start to DK Metcalf’s tenure in Pittsburgh has been a monumental letdown. Yes, the 6-4, 230-pound receiver has scored five times, but that’s what you expect him to do.
Metcalf hasn’t caught more than five balls in a game this year, eclipsing 100 yards just once. As of late, it’s been a complete disaster for the man who is supposed to be Aaron Rodgers’ top target. DK has scored fewer than 10 points in four of his last five outings, and a large factor in those shortcomings is the fact that he hasn’t found the end zone at all over that stretch.
This week, Metcalf draws a matchup against Baltimore that won’t be as easy as it looks on paper. The Ravens have surrendered just 185.7 passing yards per game over their last three weeks and only two touchdowns to receivers over their last four matchups. In a must-win matchup for many people, I would fade Metcalf.
Those are my WR start/sit Week 14 fantasy football picks! Stay tuned for more fantasy football start/sit advice throughout this week.
