Another exciting and intriguing championship fight on today’s Ring IV boxing card is between Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez and Fernando Martinez. Rodriguez is defending his WBC, WBO, and IBF Super Flyweight titles against Martinez. Bam is already one of the best boxers in the world, ranked No. 12 on BoxRec’s pound-for-pound list.

Check out my best bet for Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez vs. Fernando Martinez on the Ring IV boxing card.

Jesse Rodriguez to Win In Rounds 7-12 (+130)

In this bout, Rodriguez is taller by two inches (5’4″ vs. 5’2″) with a three-inch reach advantage (67″ vs. 64″). That will come in handy in this contest, because Rodriguez will let the champion be the aggressor. When Rodriguez controls the pace and pushes his opponent back, he has proven unstoppable.

Bam has the third-best plus-minus (17.2) and lands the most punches per round (23.1) among the top pound-for-pound boxers via CompuBox. Rodriguez also lands 17.3 power punches per round, the most of the top boxers, which is impressive.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Bam is the largest favorite on this card at -1100. Martinez is a +650 underdog in this contest. Rodriguez is also -225 to win this contest by KO/TKO/DQ. With that being the case, I’m taking the champion to win Rounds 7-12 at +130. Even though Rodriguez is on an unbelievable run, his opponent is also undefeated and will likely be a tough out. Rodriguez has won three of his previous four fights in Rounds 7-12.
