Quarterback
Start ‘Em: Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Justin Herbert is a start for me at Jacksonville because the shape of this matchup flatters his skill set. He arrives with 2,610 yards (second), 19 touchdowns, and a 63.6 QBR, a steady drumbeat of volume that survived a physical win over Pittsburgh, where the Chargers leaned into motion, quick-game, and timely shots while Ladd McConkey posted 107 and a score and Keenan Allen kept the chains honest. The runway stays clear in Duval. Jacksonville has blitzed heavily over the last five games (35.8%) yet owns the league’s lowest sack rate in that span (2.6%), and even those heat calls only generate a middling pressure rate. That is the exact profile Herbert punishes: ID the pressure, throw behind it, stack first downs.
Protection context matters, and it pushes me further toward Herbert. Joe Alt is out for the season after ankle surgery, and the Chargers’ pass-block win rate dips to the league’s basement without him. Roman and Harbaugh have compensated with tempo, under-center play-action, and backs in release—answers that marry with Jacksonville’s rush-without-finish trend. Even if the Jags sit back, this defense has played bottom-third ball by yardage allowed, so the intermediate windows should stay available on daggers, glance, and deep crossers.
Herbert’s options are live and layered. McConkey stretches spaces on crossers and speed-cuts (questionable but trending), Allen owns the option tree on third down, and the backs give clean outlets against simulated pressure. The schedule and scene cooperate, too: Chargers at Jaguars in Week 11, likely a one-score script that keeps Herbert throwing through the fourth. I expect efficient volume and multi-touchdown ceiling; in DK, double-stacks with Allen/McConkey fit the tape and the tendencies.

Running Back
Sit ‘Em: Kenneth Walker III (Seattle Seahawks) at Los Angeles Rams
Notice a trend developing here? Spoiler: Jaxon Smith-Njigba is not my sit of the week at wide receiver. There are limits to my madness. That said, a lot of signs are pointing towards Seattle’s red-hot offense coming to a screeching halt against arguably the best team in football. Hence, the Walker III and Darnold “sit” selections. If you’re considering starting Zach Charbonnet, I would avoid him as well.
Walker III’s start percentage across most fantasy leagues was well over 50% last week, mostly due to his workload within one of the NFL’s best offenses. Unfortunately, the production doesn’t match the usage in this case. After a strong start to the season, Walker has failed to eclipse the double-digit point mark in five straight outings, despite receiving at least 11 touches in every contest.
That’s not a promising sign as Seattle gears up for a duel with the Rams. Sean McVay’s squad is allowing the fewest fantasy points to running backs, putting Walker III firmly in sit territory on Sunday.

Wide Receiver
Start ‘Em: Troy Franklin (Denver Broncos) vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Denver has a WR1, and his name isn’t Courtland Sutton.
From a talent standpoint, that statement isn’t necessarily true, as Sutton still presents game-breaking big-play capabilities and leads the team in yards. However, when it comes to targets, receptions and touchdowns, Franklin has the edge.
Franklin and Nix’s Oregon days have translated into a legitimate NFL rapport. The 22-year-old has been targeted 37 times over Denver’s last three outings. Accuracy has been an issue for the signal caller, which has resulted in fewer completed passes than fantasy managers would like, but Franklin has also scored four times over that span.
The sophomore receiver is fresh off another solid outing in which he hauled in five of nine targets for 40 yards and a touchdown. The matchup against Kansas City isn’t exactly ideal, but Franklin’s emergence as Nix’s top option has put him on the map.

Tight End
Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland’s defense plays on schedule and erases big weeks: third in defensive EPA/play at −0.09, 37.1% success rate allowed, and 9.8% team sack rate. The pressure shows up without gambling—43% pressure rate with just an 18.4% blitz rate—which lets Jim Schwartz keep split-safety or quarters on more than half of snaps and close windows late. They finish drives, too: opponents score touchdowns on 56.0% of red-zone trips, a top-ten clip that trims tight-end spike equity.
The stress lands where Andrews usually fattens lines. Cleveland allows only 26.1 opponent pass attempts per game, with 66.0% completions, 7.2 yards per attempt, and a 97.1 opponent rating—volume and efficiency both compressed. Money downs are no relief: 35.7% third-down conversions allowed. That’s the exact geometry that turns seam shots into contested stems and kills yards after the catch. Baltimore’s own finishing has wobbled—ninth in red-zone attempts but just 17th in conversion over the last three weeks—so you need either chunk gains or an end-zone throw to beat this matchup.
Andrews remains excellent, but his 2025 ledger reflects the squeeze: 29 catches, 244 yards (8.4 per reception), and five touchdowns. Against four-man heat, Lamar’s eyes hit chips, backs, and quicks; scramble drills get rallied down by Cleveland’s linebackers, and the safeties cap crossers before they unspool. Expect longer possessions, fewer short fields, and a stat line built on traffic—five to seven targets with modest depth and touchdown reliance. In PPR you can chase floor, but I’d pivot to a cleaner matchup that offers first-read sits and shallow crossers without immediate contact.
