Prediction, pick for Jaron Ennis vs. Uisma Lima

One of the best boxers in the world, Jaron “Boots” Ennis, is back and is moving up to 154 pounds. Ennis’ first fight at Super Welterweight is against elite contender Uisma Lima. Ennis enters this contest with a 34-0 record with 30 knockouts.

Although his opponent, Lima, is 14-1 and is talented, the odds tell a different story. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Ennis is a huge -3000 favorite while Lima is a +1200 underdog. Check out my best bet for Jaron Ennis’ next fight against Uisma Lima right here.

Jaron Ennis to Win In Rounds 1-6 (+160)

Since Ennis is such a big favorite, let’s see what he is to win by KO/TKO/DQ. Ennis is still -390 to win by finish, which are still lopsided odds. So, that is why I’m taking Boots to win this fight in Rounds 1-6, which is priced at +160 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

This is the best value play in this contest, and it is because Ennis has proved to be an earlier finisher in his career. In Ennis’ career, 31 of his 34 victories have come in Rounds 1-6. Ennis is one of the best knockout artists in boxing, and at just 28 years old, he continues to improve with each fight.

According to CompuBox, Ennis lands 33.4 percent of his total punches, which is nearly five percent more than the super welterweight average. He also lands 43.3 percent of his power punches, which is over seven percent better than the 154-pound average. Moving up a weight class shouldn’t be a problem for “Boots” since he is such an incredible all-around boxer.
