What happened to Corbin Carroll? Live injury updates for Diamondbacks at Blue Jays Wednesday 6/18/25

In the eighth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays, Corbin Carroll was hit on the hand by a 1-2 inside fastball.

After the game, X-rays were negative.

Prior to exiting, Carroll went 1-for-3 with a triple and a strikeout. He was replaced by Alek Thomas.

The Diamondbacks start a three-game series in Colorado on Friday then play the White Sox in Chicago starting Monday.

If Carroll misses time, Randal Grichuk or Tim Tawa would likely play right field while Ketel Marte would probably bat leadoff.
