If the Fever pull off a win over the 2-8 Connecticut Sun and the Liberty win against the Dream, they would would be in the Cup Championship game. They’d love to be in complete control of their destiny, but having a shot at the Cup at this stage is plenty.

It’s no slight to say this Sun defense is many tiers below the Liberty. They’re flat out not good this season. An all-world offensive talent like Clark has the potential to break them completely, even without bringing her A game.
