After a great Sunday of action, the focus of the Major League Baseball world will be on the Bronx for the Sunday Night Baseball matchup between the Red Sox and Yankees, who split the first two games of their three-game series this weekend. It should be a great series finale at Yankee Stadium, so let’s dive in and check out my best bets, picks and predictions for Red Sox at Yankees on 6/8/25.
The Red Sox are 9.5 games behind the Yankees in the AL East coming into this matchup, and the Yankees are heavily favored at -233 on the moneyline as they send Carlos Rodon to the hill against Hunter Dobbins. The run line for the matchup is 7.5.

Best Bets for Red Sox at Yankees on 6/8/25 on DraftKings Sportsbook
Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (-105)
Judge went 0-for-4 in the Yankees’ loss on Saturday, but he has been absolutely on fire over the past few weeks and should bounce back on Sunday against Dobbins. There are many ways to attack Judge props, but this is one with plenty of paths to victory and solid odds.
In his last 24 games, Judge is hitting .398 with a .523 wOBA, a 57.1% hard-hit rate, and a 20.6% barrel rate. All that outstanding contact has resulted in 61 total bases over that span for an average of 2.54 total bases per game.
He has collected multiple total bases in five of his last eight games and had in three straight before coming up empty against lefty Garrett Crochet and the Sox on Saturday.
Judge has a .490 wOBA against righties this sason and a .497 wOBA at home. Dobbins has not faced the Yankees in his career but has a 1.33 WHIP and 42.9% hard-hit rate against this season, which should set up for Judge to deliver at least multiple total bases.
New York Yankees Over 3.5 Extra Base Hits (+120)
I spotlighted Jazz Chisholm Jr. as one of my top home run props for Sunday’s later games, and I think he and Judge should be able to deliver at least one extra-base hit against the Red Sox. As a result, I love getting the whole Yankees team to get to at least four extra base hits in this matchup.
On the year, the Yankees have an MLB-leading 102 home runs to go with 112 doubles and 10 triples. That means that in their 63 games, they average 3.6 extra-base hits per game. At home, that number is steady at 3.4 extra-base hits per game, and over the last month has been 3.6 extra-base hits per contest.
The Yankees had five extra-base hits on Friday in their win but just two extra-base hits on Saturday, even though they scored seven runs in defeat.
On the other side of the matchup, Dobbins has allowed 19 extra-base hits in his 44 1/3 innings and the Red Sox as a team have given up the eighth-highest hard-hit rate over the last two weeks.
If the Yankees can get to Dobbins and make loud contact, this team prop will end up a great play at plus money.
Carlos Rodon to Record the Win (+100)
I spotlighted a pick on Rodon’s strikeout total in my starting pitcher props for Sunday, but in these best bets, I’m taking him to get the win at +100.
Rodon has won eight of his 13 starts this season, including each of his last four starts. He won each of his last three home starts, beating the Guardians, Rangers and Mets.
Rodon has a sparkling 2.49 ERA, 2.93 FIP and 0.93 WHIP in his 13 games. At home, he has held opponents to a .154 batting average and a .227 wOBA.
While He has been especially sharp lately, and the 32-year-old is the main reason the Yankees are so heavily favored. Rather than taking them on the moneyline at -233, though, I’d rather go all in on Rodon to grab the win in the series finale on Sunday night.
