MLB Parlay for April 25th, 2025
- Matt Olson over 1.5 H/R/RBI vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
- Jorge Polanco over 1.5 H/R/RBI vs. Miami Marlins
- Tyler Sodestrom over 1.5 H/R/RBI vs. Chicago White Sox
Matt Olson over 1.5 H/R/RBI
Zac Gallen of the Diamondbacks has gotten off to a rough start through 27.1 innings. He enters tonight with a 5.60 ERA, an xERA of 4.48, and a 4.81 FIP. Lefties have been responsible for much of the damage, with a .421 wOBA against him. With Gallen’s heavy four-seam fastball usage, which accounts for 45% of his pitches thrown, Olson has thrived against that pitch. Since last season, Olson has a .458 wOBA and a .296 ISO against four-seam fastballs thrown by right-handed pitchers. Both numbers are the highest among the hitters in the Braves’ expected lineup tonight.
Jorge Polanco over 1.5 H/R/RBI
Polanco is likely the player you looked at and thought, “Why the hell is he included?” The Mariners face Cal Quantrill and the Marlins’ bullpen tonight, which plays to Polanco’s (and the Mariners) advantage. Quantrill has struggled, posting an 8.31 ERA and a 7.01 xERA. His command has been inconsistent, and he’s allowed a career-high hard-hit rate of 47%. Polanco, batting second, is a historically patient hitter. The hitters surrounding him excel against Quantrill’s pitches, increasing Polanco’s chances of reaching base and scoring.
Tyler Soderstrom over 1.5 H/R/RBI
Sodestrom has been a machine at the plate, going over 1.5 H/R/RBI in 15 of the 25 games (60%) he’s played. Friday seems like a great opportunity to make it 16 of his 26 games. The Athletics will be playing at home, which feels like Coors Field 2.0, and will be facing the White Sox. Starter Sean Burke will be taking the mound for the White Sox and brings his 6.23 ERA with an xERA of 8.85.
