The Masters delivered all the drama any golf fan could have asked for on Sunday as the first major championship had so many twists and turns on a memorable Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club. Rory McIlroy ($11,100; 128.5 FPTS) was in the lead coming into the round and ultimately claimed the win, although he gave away multiple leads and ultimately needed an extra hole to defeat Justin Rose ($7,200; 109 FPTS).

McIlroy completed the career grand slam and claimed his fifth major championship with the win. He now has an impressive 29 PGA TOUR wins, including three this season. He won THE PLAYERS Championship in a playoff earlier this season against J.J. Spaun and also won a Signature Event at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Rose matched Hideki Matsuyama ($9,500; 68 FPTS) for the low round of the day with 10 birdies and four bogeys. He finished runner-up in a second straight major championship since he was also runner-up to Xander Schauffele in last year’s Open Championship. It was also the second Masters playoff that Rose lost since he also lost in 2017 to Sergio Garcia, the last time there was a playoff at Augusta National Golf Club.

Patrick Reed ($7,300; 99.5 FPTS) finished solo third while defending champion Scottie Scheffler ($12,400; 88.5 FPTS) finished fourth. The top five was rounded out by a two-way tie between Sungjae Im ($7,300; 89 FPTS) and Bryson DeChambeau ($9,900; 89 FPTS).

I had Rory as one of my best cash game plays this week, and Blake Kross and Griffin Wong picked him to win in our staff picks:

Rory had the highest ownership of all golfers in the $4M Fantasy Golf Millionaire this week. He was in 26.79% of entries. The leader of the $4M Fantasy Golf Millionaire after the final round concluded was an entry from bballer1044. Here’s what it looked like:
