You kidding me? Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers on a Saturday night in December? What a gift to kick off the holiday week for many of you celebrating. And I expect it to be a big night for Mark Andrews.
I’ve already written up both a Lamar Jackson prop and a Zay Flowers prop I like for this game, and am rounding out my trio of Baltimore pass-catchers with an evaluation of Mark Andrews’s market. This prop of his seems plain too good to be true, and I talk about why below.

We’ve got a lot of insights from NFL Next Gen Stats that makes me excited enough about Andrews’s receiving yard total that I’m willing to drop two units on this bet for tomorrow night.
Check out the one below, which details Mark Andrews’s elite efficiency at the tight end position when it comes to catching passes and running routes.
Which is to say, if there’s an explosive play in Monken’s playbook ready to call for tomorrow morning, it might be for Mark Andrews. His longest reception line is currently set at 17.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, and I don’t entirely mind that. However, I’d much rather just take an aggregate prop and hope Jackson feeds him.
And, ever since Mark Andrews’s four-to-five week spell of taking a backseat to Isaiah Likely, his target share and efficiency has increased dramatically since NFL Week 5. See below.
This is all to say, we have every reason to believe that Mark Andrews is back in fine form as Lamar Jackson’s most devastating and dominant threat through the air. Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely (and, to some extent, Justice Hill) will get some looks close to the line of scrimmage. But expect Andrews to be out there barreling through the middle part of the field.
Bottom Line
Knowing that Mark Andrews is, as the kids say, so back, and that Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor are both banged up, wouldn’t you take this over straight to the bank as recently as last year? I know he’s facing the Steelers, and their pass-rush might have Andrews blocking—fingers crossed for chips!—more than usual.
But this total is just too low for me to not jump all over. Again, I say: two units on this one for the Saturday Night Lights.
