It’s no secret the Commanders have one of the worst run defenses in the league. On the year, they’ve allowed the fourth-most rushing yards, 4.8 YPC, and have allowed at least 100 yards to an opposing running back three times this season. Now, they’ll face one of the most explosive running backs in the league this season in Saquon Barkley. Stopping him is going to be an extreme challenge. Taking him to go slightly over his O/U rushing yards total and reaching the end zone are the first two legs of this parlay. Then, we’ll add Hurts to also use his legs. He’s averaging over 10 rushing attempts per game and against this defense, he should rack up the yards.

A.J. Brown over 82.5 receiving yards

I’m also a big fan of A.J. Brown overs tonight. The Commanders know their secondary is exploitable and that’s why they went out and traded for Marshon Lattimore. Well, we got news on Wednesday that Lattimore would be inactive for this game, meaning we’ll get the same ol’ secondary for Week 11. That means we’ll see CB Mike Sainristil lined up across from Brown. On the year, Sainristil has been targeted against 43 times allowing 29 catches for 301 yards (10.4 YPR) and three touchdowns.
I’m going under on Smith for this game. His role has decreased since Brown returned from the lineup. Smith is averaging just 4.4 targets since Brown returned after seeing 20 targets in games without him. The Eagles also recently got Dallas Goedert, who is also a favorite target of Hurts. Despite a good matchup on paper, this doesn’t seem like a spot where Smith sees a heavier number of targets than he’s been seeing.
Finally, McLaurin is going to have to overcome a tough pass defense from the Eagles to hit his over. But, this is someone who we’ve seen go over 100 yards on four different occasions already. In coverage, he’ll see a combination of Darius Slay and Quinyon Mitchell. Both are allowing under a 60% reception rate but on the catches they do allow, they’re averaging double-digits per reception. With the volume McLaurin should receive and his aDOT sitting at 15+ yards, I still think he goes over in a tough matchup.
