It’s Tuesday, which means every MLB is in action tonight. Let’s take a look at what MLB bets I’m on for today that you can tail on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays
The Pick: Orioles team total over 4.5 runs -115
There is a lot to like about the Orioles offense tonight against the Blue Jays. They’ll be facing off against Chris Bassitt, who has really been struggling lately. The month of July was abysmal for Bassitt, who posted a 7.01 ERA with a .377 wOBA and a 4.96 FIP. As I’ve mentioned numerous times, the biggest issue for Bassitt if facing left-handed bats and that’s what you’ll get against the Orioles. Tonight’s expected lineup will likely feature SEVEN left-handed bats, including the first five hitters. On top of that, this Orioles team is a very good hitting club against sinkers, which is Bassitt’s primary pitch. Throwing it 42% of the time, the O’s lineup has a combined .397 wOBA with a .183 ISO against that pitch.
Even if you’re not convinced the O’s can clobber Bassitt, the Blue Jays bullpen will give plenty of opportunities as well. Since coming back from the All-Star break, these relievers have combined for a 5.65 ERA with a 4.89 FIP. Walks have been a major issue for the bullpen, averaging almost six walks per nine inning. That numbers is the second-highest in the league, trailing only the White Sox bullpen. I feel very confident about the Orioles scoring at least five runs tonight.

Minnesota Twins at Chicago Cubs
The Pick: Pablo Lopez over 6.5 strikeouts -115
Lopez has been racking up strikeouts lately. He’s logged exactly seven strikeouts in three straight starts against the Mets, Tigers and Brewers. Tonight, he’ll go against the Cubs for the first time this season. They haven’t been hitting well since coming out of the All Star break and have a 23.2% K%. The sweeper is going to be a big problem for them tonight, which is Lopez’s big whiff pitch. The Cubs expected lineup for tonight has a 35% K% against sweepers this season when thrown by a right-handed pitcher. With the big strikeout potential for Lopez, I think this is a great spot to take the over on his strikeout prop for tonight.
San Diego Padres at Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pick: Padres run line -1.5 -105
Dylan Cease has been untouchable lately. He recently threw a no-hitter and and has only allowed four earned runs over his last five starts. Thats a span of 34.2 innings. He’ll look to continue this dominant streak against the Pirates in Pittsburgh tonight. Cease has been so good against both sides of the plate, holding lefties to a .274 wOBA and righties to a very impressive .248 wOBA. I think he continues to roll tonight.
I also like this matchup for the Padres offense against Bailey Falter. While the Padres numbers overall against lefties are ok, they are a very good hitting club against the fastball and that’s the key. Against that pitch when thrown by a lefty, the Padres expected lineup has a combined .353 wOBA with a .162 ISO and just a 13% K%. Falter is a very heavy fastball pitcher and has been throwing that pitch almost 55% of the time. If they can score a few runs off Falter, Cease should be able to do this part to preserve that lead and help the Padres win this game by at least two runs.
