F1 schedule: Miami Grand Prix practice, qualifying, TV schedule, race date and time

Formula One will be coming stateside for its next race. The 2024 Miami Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, May 5 at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida. This is the sixth race of the season, as the drivers are coming off the 2024 China Grand Prix two weeks ago.

The first practice of the weekend will be held on Friday, May 3 at 12:30 p.m. ET. This will lead to the sprint shootout event, which will set the starting order of the sprint race on Saturday. This goes into qualifying for the actual Grand Prix, which will begin at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. Friday’s events will both be on ESPN2 with the action switching to ESPN on Saturday. The Miami Grand Prix will be available to stream on ESPN+ but will be aired on ABC.

All events will broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2, and will be available for live stream at WatchESPN. If you don’t have an ESPN subscription to access WatchESPN, you can get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream it.

Max Verstappen, who won the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix two weeks ago, has the best odds to win this race at DraftKings Sportsbook. He is heavily favored at -600 and is followed by Sergio Perez (+1100), Lando Norris (+1800), Charles Leclerc (+1800) and Carlos Sainz (+1800).
