The PGA TOUR teed off the second round of the 2023 Travelers Championship on Friday at 6:45 a.m. ET. Denny McCarthy closed out Thursday with a one-shot lead after shooting ten under in the first round. Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley were tied for second two shots back, Scottie Scheffler was a shot back of them, and Eric Cole, Shane Lowry, and Chez Reavie closed out the top five a shot back of Scheffler.
The first trios teed off on Friday at 6:45 a.m. ET, with the afternoon groups beginning 12 p.m. ET. It should be about 5 p.m. before we have a solid idea of what the final cut line should be, but many participants will know they’re heading home after holing out on 18.

2:40 p.m.: The cut remains at -3 with all remaining golfers on the course. 76 golfers are currently projected to make the cut.
1:24 p.m.: The cut has moved to -3 and 69 golfers are currently projected to make it into the weekend.
12 p.m.: The cut sits at -2, with 83 golfers projected to make it into the weekend.
Who is not projected to make the cut?
6:04 p.m. ET: Homa finished at -3 for the day.
5:17 p.m.: Collin Morikawa, Seamus Power, and Byeong Hun An all sit at -3 after finishing their rounds. Homa remains at -3.
4:30 p.m.: Homa has moved to -3, Matsuyama has improved to -5, and English is at -4. Tommy Fleetwood, Hayden Buckley, and Brandon Wu all finished at -2. Kurt Kitayama finished at -1.
2:40 p.m.: Homa has improved to -1 overall through six holes. Matsuyama improved to -3 through five holes and English did the same through eight holes.
1:24 p.m.: Jon Rahm completed his round shooting one over and sits at -2 after the second round. Homa picked up a stroke through the first two holes and is now at +1. Harris English sits at -2 through two holes and Hideki Matsuyama is at -2 after the first hole.
12 p.m.: The biggest name missing the cut is Max Homa. He is sitting at +2 and tees off at 12:50 p.m. Si Woo Kim is sitting at +3 with one hole to go, and is unlikely to make the cut.
