The Major League Baseball offseason is just about coming to a close. The league announced official Spring Training report dates for all 30 teams, and February 17th is when it all starts. Pitchers and catchers will report for 15 teams on the 17th, another 13 on the 18th, and the final two on the 19th.
There are a lot of qualified free agents still on the market, so rosters are far from complete. The start of camp should bring some urgency, but plenty of players might look to just wait it out until late in camp before the season starts on April 1.
Heading into reporting week, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the odds-on favorite to win the 2021 World Series, sitting at +350 at DraftKings Sportsbook. The New York Yankees have the second best odds at +550, followed by the San Diego Padres (+800), Chicago White Sox (+850), and the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets (both +1000).
