The NFL season is back and that means Survivor pools once again. We are here to provide tips to stay alive all season.

The holiday season is upon us and this weekend brings the NFL’s Christmas slate. This weekend, we get TNF, a pair of Saturday games, a busy Sunday Christmas Eve slate, and then a Christmas tripleheader.

Most Survivor contests have come to a close, but plenty are coming down to the wire. If you’re still alive, we’ve got a look at safe choices, value choices, and potential traps. Last week, I hit on my safe and value choices, but missed a bit on the trap picks. I was right on Falcons-Panthers as a trap game, but I was way off on Saints-Giants and Dolphins-Jets.

On to Week 16 picks!

Safest picks

Eagles over Giants
Bills over Chargers

Based on how other leagues have gone, the Eagles will be a popular pick this week. They’ve been saved for this string of three easy matchups to close things out. As for the Bills, it’s either this week or next week when they host the Patriots.

Best value picks

Broncos over Patriots
Rams over Saints

The Broncos get a bad Patriots team. New England upset Pittsburgh last week, but Denver should be able to handle this one. The Rams face a Saints team that looked solid enough against the Giants, but LA is a much better squad.

Trap pick

Chiefs over Raiders

The Chiefs got back on the winning track, but this divisional game feels a little dicey.
