Garion is a Toronto-based writer who has been playing fantasy sports since elementary school. With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Prior to that, Garion’s work could be found at FNTSY, SportsGrid, HoopsHype, The New York Daily News and Sportsnet.ca. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
Imagine being told four months ago that the final Thursday Night Football game of the season would be a matchup between Joe Flacco ($10,600) and Trevor Siemian ($8,800). That’s right. We’re less than a week away from 2024, and Joe Flacco has a price tag well over $10K. What a time to be alive. He’s […]

Just like everyone’s own personal clock, the NBA schedule has been messed up this week by the holidays, which is how we get a Wednesday evening with an unusually small six-game slate. Still, that doesn’t mean it’s a boring six-game slate. In fact, four of the five highest-priced assets are either questionable due to injury […]

You know that saying about how the NBA doesn’t really start till Christmas? Well, we’re getting pretty close to the NBA starting. Still, for a league that isn’t underway, there sure are a lot of games taking place on Friday evening — six to be exact. Let’s sort through and find some values. Set your […]

Look, I crack a lot of jokes at the expense of the Thursday Night Football schedule, but this one isn’t a laughing matter. This one is basically for a playoff spot in the NFC. Coming into Week 16, the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams both find themselves with a 7-7 record, fighting […]

If you think this NFL season has been especially difficult for quarterbacks, take a moment to consider your local DFS writer — the real victim. It truly feels like a quarterback has been listed as questionable for at least half of the primetime Showdown slates so far this season and, of course, Monday Night Football […]

It might be a week till Christmas, but I’ve decided to give out my gifts a little early — and by “gifts” I mean value plays for tonight’s 11-game featured NBA slate on DraftKings. Remember, it’s the thought that counts. No exchanges or refunds, either. Let’s dive in. Set your DraftKings fantasy basketball lineups here: […]

I have nothing interesting to say here, which is troubling considering we’re less than a third of the way into the NBA’s regular season. Uhhhh… Oxford defines value as “the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.” Do with that what you may. We’ve got an eight-game featured […]

Woooooooooof. Raise your hand if you thought last week was the absolute low-point for TNF. Well, you were wrong. This evening we’ll see two AFC West teams square off: The Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders. Neither will make the playoffs. Both are totally flush with injuries to key players. It’s going to […]

We’ve got a nine-game featured slate tonight in the NBA, with both the Lakers and Suns on the second leg of a back-to-back. So that means the fate of Kevin Durant ($9,800; ankle), LeBron James ($9,700; calf) and Bradley Beal ($6,900; back) are currently anyone’s guess. Fortunately, some other situations are a little more clear […]

It might be difficult to remember, with all the point-scoring and speed of this current iteration of the Miami Dolphins, but this used to be a pretty boring franchise. Case and point: This evening will be the first time the Dolphins have hosted a Monday Night Football game in six years. They’ll continue their fight […]

There’s only been one NBA game the past two days, but the league is coming back in a big way on Monday night, with a massive 13-game slate. No more In-Season Tournament courts, though. RIP to those color palette monstrosities. Let’s dive in and find some values. Set your DraftKings fantasy basketball lineups here: NBA […]
