Winner: Miki Sudo is your champion once again, but just barely. Sudo held off debut participant Mayoi Ebihara by barely a hot dog to secure the Pepto Bismol pink belt for the ninth time in ten years. Sudo finished with 39 1⁄2 hot dogs and Ebihara finished with 33 1⁄2. Ebihara came in as an […]

There’s not much doubt about who will win the 2023 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, as to win $1 on Joey Chestnut, you’ll have to put down $40. But how many hot dogs will the 15-time champion consume to win yet another mustard belt this year? The oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook think he wins, but […]

It’s not all about shoving salted meat and water-soaked bread down your gullet. The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is governed by the rules from Major League Eating, which doubles as both the governing body and promoter of the sport. As basically the only one of my relatives that ever moved outside the Delaware Valley, you have to understand that Philadelphia is the most parochial city in America. With Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg closer than ever to settling their feud via mixed martial arts, and most of the free world likely rooting for some level of mutual destruction, we asked our oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook to handicap any potential meeting of two of the world’s 10 wealthiest people in a cage. Projected […]

Sometimes we have to report on something that’s less than fun to do. This is not one of those times. A Billionaire Fight that doesn’t involve a courtroom might actually happen, as Facebook Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg has challenged Twitter/Tesla/Boring Company Weirdo Elon Musk to get in an MMA cage and duke it out. And apparently […]
