Second-round action kicks off at Wimbledon on Wednesday, and there are plenty of high-profile names taking the court in London.
In this article, I will be breaking down my favorite DraftKings Sportsbook bet for Jannik Sinner vs. Matteo Berrettini. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Jannik Sinner vs. Matteo Berrettini
Jannik Sinner -4.5 Games (-130)
It’s not often you get this short of a spread for the world No. 1 in the second round of a Grand Slam.
The man responsible is Matteo Berrettini, who is a formidable opponent on grass and will be a nice test for Jannik Sinner. Dating back to his 2019 final appearance in Wimbledon, Berrettini has been quite effective on this surface, boasting a 41-7 record.
Some may look at this match and want to stay away from Sinner from a betting perspective. I look at it as an opportunity. 4.5 games is an easy cover if the 22-year-old wins in straight sets, and it’s still doable in four, or even five if this match somehow goes the distance. Sinner did exactly that in the opening round against Yannick Hanfmann, dropping the third set but still clinching five more games than his opponent.
The Italian superstar is in fantastic form, having won 11 of his last 12 matches, with the one loss coming against Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open semis. He’s perfect on grass in 2024 and is fresh off a Halle Open title.
On the other side of this matchup, Berrettini is in solid form, but his recent run of play has been nothing spectacular. These two have faced off only once throughout their respective careers in 2023, with Sinner winning in straight sets. I expect a victory in similar dominant fashion in their rematch Wednesday.
