The Los Angeles Chargers brought Jim Harbaugh back to the NFL this offseason, signing the former 49ers and Michigan head coach to lead their program. The Chargers have reached the postseason just once in the past five years, and are hoping that Harbaugh can lead them back to consistent success. The team continues to build around franchise quarterback Justin Herbert. They signed running backs Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins out of Baltimore this offseason and lost WR Keenan Allen, WR Mike Williams, RB Austin Ekeler and TE Gerald Everett.
Here’s a look at the projected offensive depth chart for the 2024 Los Angeles Chargers following the 2024 NFL Draft.

Biggest offensive NFL Draft additions
The Chargers’ addition of Ladd McConkey in the second round adds another target for quarterback Justin Herbert, and their first-round pick — offensive lineman Joe Alt — will be a huge asset in protecting Herbert from the pass rush.
Player most impacted by NFL Draft for fantasy football
Herbert’s fantasy potential could see an increase with the addition of Alt to the line, but McConkey could end up outshining DJ Chark and Quentin Johnston and lowering their ceilings for the upcoming season. However, that is not a guarantee — there is always the possibility that McConkey doesn’t live up to expectations in his rookie year and sees fewer targets than other WRs on the roster.
