Season 3 of Reignmakers Football may be a few months away, but it’s already time to begin preparations.
Just as the second season of Reignmakers Football was kicked off, the 2024 season will launch with the Rookie Debut Set. Reignmakers Football players will be able to acquire 2024 Rookie Debut cards when the set drops on April 18, 2024.
Important Set Details
With the drop date coming before rookies find their first pro home, customers will not obtain player cards in the packs purchased in the drop. Instead, Reignmakers Football players are getting in the game before the draft starts!
Rookie Debut Set cards will be tied to a position and selection slot. The set will include cards for the first six quarterbacks, first three running backs, first 10 wide receivers and the top tight end selected from April 25 to April 27.
Example: You own “WR Selection 3: 2024 Rookie Debut Set (CORE).”
With the 8th overall pick in the 2024 Draft, ATL selects a WR (and this is the thirdWR selected at this point). Your “WR Selection 3: 2024 Rookie Debut Set (CORE)” card will become a 2024 Reignmakers Football Card for the 8th overall pick. In 2024, for example, this card would have become Zay Flowers (selected 22nd overall, but the third WR drafted).
Updating of the cards will begin with collectible names and metadata in early May. Player images and additional info will be added to the cards themselves mid-summer.
Like last season, there will be three different pack types featured in the drop:
Instant Win Cards
Instant Win cards will be a new addition to the 2024 Rookie Debut Set packs.
There will be two types of Instant Win cards featured across the set packs:
- $50 in DK Dollars (SCOUT and BOOSTER packs)
- $100 in DK Dollars (GM packs)
Franchise Score
Rookie Debut Set cards will also carry a 4X Franchise Score multiplier (2x for Rookie Debut Set and the 2x Rookie multiplier).
Season-Long Usage
2024 Rookie Debut Set cards will be playable throughout the entirety of the 2024 season. There will not be a special Trade-In Recipe to exchange the 2024 card for a 2025 version of the same player and rarity tier.
