Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers: Notable DraftKings Predictions Markets ahead of Thursday Night Football

Updated:

By: Andy Silva

Thursday Night Football brings us a matchup of two NFC teams coming off a loss last week, as the Panthers travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers.

The Panthers (3-3) had built some excitement in Carolina heading into last week’s game against the Bucs, winning three of four, including two straight over the Lions and Eagles. But an embarrassing 43-13 loss where they were never even in had to have Carolina fans scratching their heads. On the opposite side, the Packers enter at 4-3 coming off a last-second 20-17 loss to the Lions.

On paper, this is a battle of the movable object vs. the stoppable force. Carolina travels to Lambeau with the worst run defense in the NFL (153.2 yards per game and 5.16 per carry), while Green Bay counters with the league’s worst run offense (59.9 yards per game, 2.91 per carry). It should be noted that the Packers got three-time Pro Bowler Josh Jacobs back off the commissioner’s exempt list last week, when he posted 36 yards on 11 carries to go along with five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown in the passing game.

The Panthers are fifth in total offense and Bryce Young is second in the NFL in passing yards per game at 285.3, while Jordan Love is second in the league in passing yards. However, despite leading the NFL in takeaways and interceptions, the Packers own the worst point differential in the NFC North at minus-1.

Here’s a look at some of the notable markets on DraftKings Predictions for the Panthers and Packers ahead of tonight’s Thursday Night Football showdown.
