We’re officially into week two of the new NBA season and there’s plenty to talk about. On tonight’s schedule, one game stands out above the rest as the Detroit Pistons head to the Big Apple and take on the reigning champion New York Knicks.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York enters as a 4.5-point favorite at home with -170 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set at 219.5 combined points.

Here are the top Pistons vs. Knicks prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this Tuesday night matchup.

Best Pistons vs. Knicks player prop bets

Karl-Anthony Towns over 11.5 rebounds (-133)

Ever since coming to the Knicks for the 2024-25 season, Karl-Anthony Towns has posted some of the NBA’s most impressive rebounding numbers. He averaged 12.8 and 11.9 boards over his first two full seasons in New York, and thus far, he’s at 12.0 boards per game through the first three matchups of his season. He’s posted double-digit rebounds in all three games with 12, 10 and 14 against the 76ers, Celtics and Magic – all three of which have standout frontcourts. It’s been a nice start to the campaign for Towns, but he’s uniquely positioned to pop off tonight and gobble up some opportunities off the glass. Detroit center Jalen Duren is out for a bit after suffering a strained hamstring, which leaves Paul Reed as the likely starter for the Pistons at the position. John Collins is also in the frontcourt, but Towns is a seven-footer with a noticeable size advantage over the 6-foot-9 big men and is obviously the superior talent. His rebounding line is set at 11.5 boards here and the over is favored by a decent bit, but it should be a nice builder play for parlays if you don’t like the standalone value. For what it’s worth, he also went 49-for-94 on this over last season, including the postseason sample.

Duncan Robinson 4+ 3PM (+160)

As things stand currently, Duncan Robinson is actually one of the Pistons’ best scorers. Yes, it’s very early in the season and strange things happen with small sample sizes, however, he’s averaging 19.7 PPG and ranks second on the team in per-game production. The driving force behind that has been his sharpshooting – hardly a surprise for the veteran – which has him ranked among the NBA’s best from beyond the arc at the moment. Last season, Robinson came to Detroit and took 7.0 threes per game, connecting on 2.9 per contest while shooting 41.0% from deep. It was the second-best three-point percentage of his career and his best finish since the 2019-20 campaign, so clearly, he was doing something right. Now, he’s off to a hot start with a blazing 53.6% 3P% and 5.0 made threes per game on an average of 9.3 attempts. Robinson has connected on five shots from deep in all three games and seems to be enjoying the uptick in volume at the moment. That green light should be conducive to another four makes tonight against the Knicks. While their perimeter defense is strong in reputation, they rank ninth-worst or lower in three-point attempts allowed per game (40.3), made threes allowed per game (14.7), three-point percentage allowed (36.4%).
