What Happened on The Traitors: New Blood Episode 7?
Victor has been throwing around Joe and Tomica’s names, with a particular focus on the latter. However, murdering him would draw too much attention to the Traitors. Katie is the voice of reason, urging her co-conspirators to play it cool and avoid the obvious move. She’s considering Wyatt; he’s close with Victor and someone that would shock the remaining Faithfuls. However, Joe sees Mark and Kriste as people that would never garner any votes at the Round Table. Ultimately, the three decide to murder Mark in a move that shocks the rest of the castle.
In the aftermath of Mark’s murder, Ben has a suspicion that Katie might be hiding something. Her acting skills weren’t very convincing at breakfast, raising doubt that she was blindsided by the latest news. Kriste has her eye on Abby L., since she’s led the charge on several incorrect vote outs at the Round Table this season. Meanwhile, Tomica and Joe are working overtime to try and pin the target back on Victor.
At this week’s mission, players had to collect money and place it in their scarecrow, boosting the prize money as a group In addition, Alan teases the potential to win a ‘game changing’ power. However, other contestants could place a hidden black heart in another player’s scarecrow, therefore ruining that person’s chances at winning this newfound power and taking them out of the challenge. However, the advantage (and its winner) won’t be revealed to the rest of the castle until after tonight’s banishment.
Kriste starts the Round Table off with a bang, pointing the finger at Abby L. due to her consistently incorrect assumptions this season. In response, Abby attempts to target Wyatt for the second episode in a row. Victor then gets his turn to speak, claiming he’s the only Faithful bringing actual evidence to the table. In his eyes, the rest of these players aren’t taking his assertions seriously. Then, Victor states that Tomica, in a previous conversation between the two, mentioned that Katie was suspicious. Tomica claims she meant to say Kriste, creating extra confusion right before the vote. That’s enough for Katie to swing her vote towards Tomica in a shocking move, attempting to get out her fellow Traitor. However, it’s not enough.
Victor is the one that garners the most votes, seemingly bringing his game to a close. However, this week’s advantage prevents that from happening just yet. One player won this hidden power, called the Pardon, which could save Victor’s game if they so choose. We’ll find out next week who that is, and whether they’ll decide to spare Victor’s life on The Traitors.
