Closing out the Week 6 Sunday slate, the Dallas Cowboys will face the Green Bay Packers in this week’s SNF matchup.
The Dallas Cowboys have slipped to 2-3, entering the day tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for second in the NFC East. The Green Bay Packers are also tied for second place in their divisional race, with their 3-2 record matching the Detroit Lions in the NFC North. With both teams looking to gain ground in their respective divisional races, Sunday night’s matchup presents an important opportunity.
Looking at the odds for the Week 6 SNF matchup, the Packers enter as narrow 1.5-point favorites with -115 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Cowboys hold -105 odds to get the outright victory, with the game total set at O/U 53.5 points.
But there are plenty of ways to get involved in the action beyond backing a side or total. Let’s take a look at my top three favorite player props for the Week 6 Sunday Night Football matchup. Cowboys vs. Packers Odds

Cowboys vs. Packers NFL Player Prop Bets for Sunday Night Football
Jordan Love Over 274.5 Passing Yards (-112)
It has been a strong start to the season for Jordan Love. Through the opening five games, the Packers’ quarterback has thrown for 1,408 yards, averaging 281.6 per game, while tallying 10 touchdowns and throwing three interceptions. He has thrown for 312+ yards through the air in three of the five games and is coming off a strong 367-yard and two-passing-touchdown performance against the Bears last week.
This is about as ideal of a matchup as the Utah State product could ask for. Entering Week 6, Dallas ranks 25th in opponents’ points allowed and 31st in total yards conceded. Looking just at their pass defense, the Cowboys rank 21st in passing yards allowed, 25th in passing touchdowns conceded, and 31st in net yards per pass attempt. They also rank last in the NFL in EPA per play, success rate, yards per play allowed, and EPA per pass play. There was plenty of hype coming into the season about potential improvement coming into the year after a disastrous 2025 season for the Dallas defense. But the Cowboys have been shredded through the air to start the season while facing largely mediocre quarterback matchups. CJ Stroud has thrown for as many as 347 passing yards against the Cowboys already this season.
The defensive shortcomings have left plenty of responsibilities on the shoulders of the Cowboys’ offense, which ranks seventh in the league in scoring. The game total is set at 53.5 total points, suggesting plenty of scoring will occur in the Sunday night finale. Love has the weapons to exploit this Cowboys’ defense and will need to do so against this Cowboys’ offense to keep the game competitive. Green Bay has great trust in their quarterback, with as many as 53 passing attempts thrown by Love in a game already this season. Expect the 27-year-old to build off his strong start and move the ball with ease against this vulnerable defense, with 274.5 passing yards being a comfortable bar to clear.
George Pickens Anytime Touchdown (+140)
After largely going underutilized in the Cowboys’ offense to start the season, George Pickens has begun to break out. The Georgia product had a season-best 130 yards last week with nine receptions on 13 targets. He also reached the end zone for the first time this year. Pickens proved to be the most reliable red zone target last season for Dallas, pulling in a team-high nine touchdowns through the air.
CeeDee Lamb has battled a quad issue across the past two weeks and looked to be notably banged up by the end of the previous game. He is expected to be fully healthy and active tonight, but at what level he will be capable of performing, is the bigger question, I think. Pickens is perfectly capable of scaling up his offensive role, and this will be required in this pass-first Dallas system. Entering Week 6, Dallas ranks fifth in passing attempts, fifth in total passing yards, and fifth in EPA per play. Pickens’ 13 targets last week represent a notable leap, but it is the second time he has seen double digit targets in a game this year.
With the concerns for the defensive impact against the strong Packers’ attack, Dallas is going to need to put up points at a high rate. Green Bay’s defense ranks 10th in passing touchdowns allowed, but this has been partially driven by opposing teams’ desire to attack on the ground, as the Packers rank 30th in the NFL in rushing touchdowns conceded. Pickens has the size, explosiveness, and contested-catch ability to be a major red zone threat, and has earned Dak Prescott’s trust through the past two years. He has been targeted four times within the 10-yard line this season, and the touchdowns will come. Expect Pickens to deliver in this expected shootout tonight and for the Cowboys’ standout to find pay dirt tonight.
Javonte Williams to Record 100+ Rushing & Receiving Yards (+147)
Javonte Williams has largely established himself as the bell cow running back in this Cowboys’ attack. He has tallied 74 rush attempts this season, with Prescott being the only other player to record double-digit carries. Williams is averaging 55.2 rushing yards per game, but has also played a role in the passing game. The North Carolina product has tallied at least two receptions in all five games, and has recorded 370 total yards from scrimmage on the year.
While he has tallied 100+ yards from scrimmage just once, this is a great matchup to add to this. Green Bay is dealing with injuries to their defensive front and have struggled to stop the run in a major way. The Packers placed defensive tackles Javon Hargrave and Jonathan Ford on injured reserve ahead of this matchup, while Micah Parsons remains sidelined. The Packers currently rank 24th in total rushing yards allowed and 30th in rushing touchdowns conceded. They have also been extremely vulnerable to opposing running backs coming out of the backfield. Green Bay has allowed 20 receptions to opposing running backs already this season, including Breece Hall recording as many as 63 yards through the air against them.
Williams has logged 76.9% of the snaps so far this season and recorded 19 or more carries in two of his past three weeks. With the Packers’ difficulty stopping the run and vulnerabilities coming out of the backfield in mind, expect the Cowboys’ running back to be in line for some major production based on the quantity of opportunities he will receive. The standard combined rushing and receiving line is set at 87.5 yards on DraftKings Sportsbook for Williams. But I am pushing the total even higher and backing Williams to crack 100 yards for the second time this season.
