Who will be voted off on Survivor 51 next? Episode 4 Predictions

Survivor continued its hot start to the Open Era with another banger and another blindside at tribal council.

After Devin spent the entire episode setting up Kilby to get his torch snuffed, Lewis and Carter sided with the other half of the tribe and helped surprise Patt, who became the third person voted out at tribal (and fourth person out overall after Rob’s medical quit) in Season 51.

But who will be going home next? Will Devin and his “cult” be out for revenge? Can Savu continue its winning ways despite the numbers disadvantage? Here are three castaways who could be voted off on Survivor 51 next.

Who will be voted off on Survivor 51 next?

Danny Kilby — Toka

Last week I had Devin here, but this week he earned an extra vote and it’s clear that despite being on the wrong side of the vote again, he still has outsized sway in the Toka camp.

In fact, I’m going to throw his developing nemesis Kilby on the list this week. War has basically been declared between Kilby and what he described as Devin’s “cult.” Round 1 in this rivalry went to Kilby as Patt was sent blindsided, but Kilby is playing a messy game. Look no further than the analogy he used with Patt that put a target on his back with Devin’s side of the tribe.

Even if we’re in for some form of tribe swap/merge/split (remember we saw red buffs appear suddenly in the preview for next week’s episode), I think the threat level is still high for Kilby. After all, Devin went out of his way to smear Kilby during his time with the Savu tribe and re-affirmed his bonds with the Helicopter alliance formed on Day 1 before everyone split into tribes.

I still don’t love the way Devin is playing either, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Kilby undone by his war with Devin. I do NOT think this is the Way (get it, Devin’s last name is Way).

Eric Macksoud — Savu

Carter looked like he was going to be a target on the Savu tribe, and maybe R.I. Rob. But unfortunately for Eric, his chance to lessen his threat level vanished before his eyes.

Rob had a strange sequence where he tried to do whatever that was at tribal and then had a dubious medical situation that sure looked like a quit. And then after Alexis and Linnea seemed to be looking at Carter, he goes off and joins Toka (whether he really meant to or not), and all of a sudden Savu is down to seven and Eric remains Public Enemy No. 1.

Eric continues to have epically bad reads and remains generally annoying, so it’s going to be an uphill battle for him no matter what twists and turns lie ahead in Fiji.

Lewis Kelly — Toka

Listen, I really didn’t want to list Lewis for the third week in a row. However, with Rob gifting Carter his immunity idol on the way out the door, Lewis feels like another potential member of Toka in danger.

As I previously noted, cliques have formed in Toka and Lewis really isn’t a part of either Devin’s cult or Kilby’s crew. As was noted this week, Lewis and Carter are the wild cards on this tribe. Unfortunately for Lewis, Carter has that immunity idol to fall back on. Lewis famously failed in the premiere to get his own.

Lewis noted this week that he didn’t go to Fiji to watch Survivor — he came to play. That’s a fine sentiment, and really the mindset I think all players should begin the game with. But it’s a mindset that doesn’t guarantee safety either. With big risk comes big reward. But don’t forget there’s big risk. Lewis finally got fire at this week’s tribal council. He better be careful not to get burned.

Survivor 51 Episode 4 Preview

People seem to be in a loving mood, as Jelly seems to have eyes for Ori, Mike tries to turn on the charm for Maggie and Eric is going in for bro hugs with Kilby. Plus, is some sort of merge/tribe swap/split coming? We see a new red buff and what looks to be a new Dina camp in the preview for next week’s episode.
