What happened in Sheriff Country Season 1?
In Season 1, Sheriff Mickey Fox worked to protect Edgewater while managing strained relationships with her father, Wes, her ex-husband, Travis, and their daughter, Skye. The season built toward a major personal revelation: Mickey discovered that Eva Santos, a DEA deputy director, is actually her presumed-dead mother, Maria Fox.
The finale also exposed Mickey’s boyfriend, DEA agent Alec Kane, as a corrupt officer connected to a criminal operation in Edgewater. A confrontation ended in a shootout that left Deputy Nathan Boone wounded, though he survived. With Eva back in their lives and a dangerous Bulgarian cartel now threatening the town, Mickey and Wes enter Season 2 facing a major new mission — and plenty of unresolved family turmoil.
